Rental Information
Check in time for all rentals is 3:00 p.m.
Check out is 10:00 a.m.
Linens and towels are provided for all rental homes.
All rentals have full kitchens including microwaves and coffee
makers.
Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. July and
August are rented by the week only. Sorry, no nightly.
Nightly rentals are available in all other months with a two night
minimum, please.

Fishing:
In the bay, on the Sucker River, Sable Lake in Pictured Rocks
National Lake Shore and too many other inland lakes to name!

area.

Hiking:
Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore offers many wonderful
day hikes and the Visitor Center is only a few miles from town.
Be sure to check out Sable Falls and the Log Slide.
North Country Trail goes right through town and offers
stunning views of the Sucker River east of town in Burt
Township's School Forest.

Swimming: West Bay on Lake Superior. Sure it's brisk, but
the water is clean and clear with a sandy bottom. Great way to
wake up or for a mid afternoon pick - me -up.
Sable Lake is warmer and pretty sandy too.
History: Gitche Gumee Museum, the Pickle Barrel, Light
Keepers Museum and Au Sable Light House offer
educational experiences for those looking for historical,
informative lessons of Grand Marais and the Upper Peninsula.

Reconnecting: Available everywhere in Grand Marais and
surrounding area. Read, walk, listen, relax, play games, talk to
loved ones, talk to yourself, talk to nature, watch sunsets, watch
